 Message from The President: 'Jesus said, " Feed my lambs." ' -John 21:15
Dear Friends, After resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples and ate with them. When they finished eating, Jesus spoke to Peter and asked him if he truly loves Him. Upon hearing Peter's answer that he loves Jesus, He said " Feed my Lamb". That is if Peter truly loves Jesus, he should feed the Lambs. We understand that feeding is not just one time event. It is a continuous process. If we truly love Jesus Christ, we should be willing to feed His Lambs. We also must realize that "Feeding" is not just providing food for the body, it also involves feeding Spiritually and Socially. In the sense that we must take care of the Spiritual and Social needs of the community apart from Physical needs. Keeping this important command in mind, the IELC is involved in taking care of the underprivileged in the community, especially the children. We have child care centers, boarding homes for boys and girls and special schools for physically, visually and mentally challenged children. Our institutions are showing tremendous progress and are benchmarks for these types of institutions. Our needs as you are aware, are more. Our resources are limited. Let us join together and uplift our ‘Feeding” programs in the IELC. Let us fulfill the important command of our Lord and Good Shepherd Jesus Christ in “feeding His Lambs”. Let us pledge our support to the IELC instutiions in whatever way possible.

India Evangelical Lutheran Church often referred to as IELC is a confessional Lutheran denomination. It is spread over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Southern Karnataka, parts of Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai. It has Mission base at New Delhi, Chandigarh and Orissa.
